About the Author

RenaBelisle

Rena Belisle

Rena Belisle is married and has two married grown children and three grandchildren at the time of this writing. She has written this book to

assist her children and ease their painful process of trying to make hard

decisions during the grieving process, when she or her spouse dies. Rena worked in the Diocese of Phoenix, Catholic Church for over 20 years. She held positions working as a Director of Religious Education, Liturgy Director, Pastoral Associate and as a Parish Administrator. Prior to her return to Arizona in 1987, Rena traveled with her husband and children from one military assignment after another, giving her some really great life experiences that cannot be replaced and will always be cherished. During the last five years before coming to Arizona she worked for the Community of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hampton, VA as the Right of Christian Initiation (RCIA) Director and simultaneously held the position of Coordinator of Religious Education for the Military Archdioceses at Langley AF Base in Hampton.

Her vast experience in faith communities, helping families plan funerals and her interaction with

a variety of people and cultures over the years has given her the insight and information which has helped her put this book together.

Rena’s interests include reading novels, scrapbooking, and researching her own family genealogy. She would also like to find more time to, once again, play the guitar and write up her family’s

history in a scrapbook  format.

If this book can help lessen the stress for even one family during the grieving process she will have accomplished her goal.
