THE CONQUISTADORS

A Novel

"Brad James, an alumnus of the Conquistador High School Class of 1981 and former stand-out marching band member, spearheads an effort to organize an all-alumni marching band for Conquistador's 50th Homecoming football game. By organizing and participating in the alumni band, Brad hopes to heal a deep, burning wound from his high school past, but finds out that a former close-friend-turned-bitter-enemy has also signed up for the alumni band project . . . "

This is one of those books I really enjoyed reading--a dreamer pursuing a challenging goal, overcoming problems, encouraging others, restoration of relationships on many levels, and an ending with hope!
