Dressed-up Door Stops

Add a decorator touch where no one expects to see it with these lovely, hand-painted doorstops.

The artist makes each one a unique creation, using combinations of  variety of colors, flowers, leaves, and other beauties of nature such as chili peppers.

Chose a color scheme to match a room and Linda will make your own one-of-a-kind doorstop. These are not only pretty, they function
well and hold doors open too.

Great Things Notepads

Great Things I’m Going to Do Today!

by Kas Winters

When I first designed these notepads, they were as a personal motivator for me, not to be used as a product. After experiencing the results from using them, I saw that I was

able to focus on tasks to be done, but  my mindset also became more positive and my dreams got bigger. More was accomplished just by approaching things with a different attitude.  So, now

they are available for others to use, with the hope that  the experience will be similar.

Pad size: 4 1/4” x 5/5”, 50 sheets per pad,

printed in black on light yellow stock

chorechart

Children's Chore Chart

As a mom who was involved in many activities as well as operating my own business, getting my children to take responsibility for chores was a  necessity. We  made it fun with various types of charts over the years. This is one of those, and it worked. A child lists their goals  for the time period and a parent can list some family projects that need help from kids. The reward is written on the pot of gold and the child’s name goes on the line below the rainbow.  Children can color the pot of gold and the bars before writing their tasks at the beginning of the rainbow. As chores are completed the rainbow spaces get colored in with the color to match the initial bars. Decide in advance what it will take to get the  “pot of gold” reward and if there will be smaller rewards at other levels if that is not reached.

parentlabels

Family File Labels

As a parent of young and school-age children, there seems to be a never-ending stack of paper requiring attention of some sort. Sometimes there is also a problem of important papers getting lost. File folders worked for us (at least most of the time). Color coding the folders, using bright and easily recognizable labels on them and keeping a few in strategic locations made a difference. These stickers cover school information, including things that need to be signed and returned. There are also stickers for long and short term events and planning, contact information, and other things that seem to require paperwork of some kind.
