The Tender Heart

Driving in the cold and rain of northern Washington State, Eric wanted nothing more than to get to the motel and flop into bed.  Little did he know what awaited him when he walked into the office.

Myth mixes with magic in this novella about love and legend, the beauty of the Northern Lights and the ugliness of duplicity.

The Tender Heart is a romance story that is perfect for a lazy afternoon read or for passing the time more pleasurably on a short airplane flight

About the Author

Anna Marie Burk

Anna Marie and her husband, Bob, left the heat of Phoenix and went to see friends in the Northwest.  They had reservations at what they thought would be a small motel, but found instead more of a resort setting with expansive grounds and trees already wearing fall colors.

Jennie, the friendly young woman at the front desk, also served in other capacities at the motel, so she often chatted with Anna Marie and Bob.

When it came time to check out, Anna Marie promised she’d write a book where Jennie would be a principal character.  When she asked what genre Jennie would like, the answer was, “Romance.”

So, here for your reading pleasure is “The Tender Heart.”
